Emmaus and Beyond is a spiritual encounter. It is a time of self examination, consecration, and communing with our Lord, Jesus Christ. No matter where you are in your walk with God, you'll be blessed.

WHEN: The next verse will be March 4-6, 2010. We encourage you to attend one of these dynamic verses and to complete your application now! It is not uncommon for life circumstances to dictate that individuals reschedule their Emmaus experience. This may result in an unexpected space becoming available. It is rare that we have a cancellation, but when cancellations occur, applicants who are on the waiting list are notified. It is important to sign up as an applicant. What Is Emmaus & Beyond?

• It is so hard to describe.
• It is a spiritual retreat.
• A conference.
• A seminar.
• A workshop.
• An encounter with God.

Four times a year from Thursday at 6:00pm to Saturday at 7:00pm, pilgrims gather on a quest for more of God. The entire weekend is completely casual and "un-churchy" and completely spiritual and Book of Acts at the same time.

• There will be songs.
• There will be worship - in a way you've perhaps never experienced.
• There will be talks (not preaching) - from clergy and laity.
• There will be times of private reflection and times of group discussion.
• There will be fun and laughter.
• There will be lots of good food.
• There will be wonderful surprises throughout the weekend.

Each Emmaus & Beyond verse begins with an exhortation to enter into the light of God's love. We will invite the Holy Ghost to "teach us all things" and shine His light into areas of our heart that are held captive, areas we are often not aware exist. Then we approach the crossroads of grace and forgiveness. He will invite us to lay aside every weight that would hinder instead of enhance our relationship with Him. We will visit the cross again and again and again and rise to walk in the power of the resurrected Christ. This is Acts Chapter 29 - the continuation of the first church.

Emmaus & Beyond is all about the LOVE and GRACE of God illustrated to you in a myriad of ways. It is a time to be drawn into a closer relationship with God than you ever imagined -- no matter where you are on your journey with Him. It is a time to experience the healing power of God's love.
