The winds have shifted, they are now blowing Easterly. The tides have quickened, their assault against the
shores of Grace have been hurried. The rhythm of life has been hastened, for time sees its Omega. The gilded horsemen are being hurried from their eternal stable to finally ride their apocalyptic stampede.
Friends, the earth is witness NOW to the Church’s greatest hour! The Red Heifer is found. The Temple appointments are set. Nations are increasingly becoming anti-Semitic. Nuclear power is now in the hands of a radicalized despot who is committed to the destruction of Israel. Need I mention the horrific earthquakes that have shaken Indonesia and California as well as the tsunami that has devastated America Samoa? Drought, famine, conflict, war, unrest, insecurity, economic collapses are but a few of the disasters that checker the landscape of this week’s news.
Our nation, once home to a people under God Almighty, is now a nation open to the subterfuge of Sorcerer’s and Magicians. Like Egypt of old and Samaria, the mantle of prophecy (the prophetic anointing of Moses and Elijah) must settle upon the shoulders of individuals today who will release heaven charged utterances from God for the kingdoms of this world.
The Church’s pulse has quickened. We have no more weekends to waste. Everything counts. Every meal. Every Sunday. Every Life Group. Every event. Every DAY! It all counts for souls! There is a quickening in the heart of God’s people for the masses of lost humanity. We must win people to God. The imminent return of Jesus Christ is much sooner than we believe.
The stars declared His birth, and were observers of His passion. The clouds welcomed Him on His Ascension and will surround Him on His return, but it is the Elect Lady who shall witness the Lamb take on the character and disposition of the Bridegroom, (who will come for His ready Bride) who shall worship Him as Savior, Redeemer and King forevermore! His return will bring Him the consummation of all His wishes, and will be the full reward of all of His labor and suffering – for He shall meet His Bride while her lips are filled with those love-laced words, “Come, Lord Jesus, come quickly we pray.”
Years ago, there was a popular hymn that embodied the message of our Redemption days drawing near. I find those lyrics much more relevant now, for they say:
Years of time have come and gone
Since I first heard it told
How Jesus would come again some day
If back then it seemed so real
Then I just can’t help but feel
How much closer His coming is today
Signs of the times are everywhere
There’s a brand new feeling in the air
Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky
Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh
Wars and strife on every hand
And violence fills the land
Still some people doubt He’ll ever come again
But the Word of God is true
He’ll redeem His chosen few
Don’t lose hope soon Christ Jesus will descend

Friends, there’s no time to waste! There’s no more time for a fluffy sermonette or feel-good religion. It’s time for the spirit of the Prophet to be released in the earth!
