Champions World

Champions World

It’s the blogosphere where blogs from Champions leaders intersect with other prominent voices from around the world.  You will meet dynamic leaders with fresh vision - vision that is original, organic, zeroed in and highly extravagant.  There is nothing “safe” about our leaders.  They are unafraid to create collaborative environments that demand bold risk-taking so that the church will again look like the Book of Acts church.

Thanksgiving

happy-thanksgiving.jpgI trust none of us ever underestimate how much our “thankfulness” and “gratitude” mean to God.  I pray that we all become exceedingly aware of the delight we bring to the Lord when we praise Him with an attitude of thanksgiving and a heart full of praise!

This week, as our nation celebrates Thanksgiving, I pray that every Christian will lift the countenance of friends and family with a personal testimony of thanksgiving.  May the Lord of Hosts become someone’s Savior because of your testimonies of His great love… with a thankful heart!

The Psalmist said, “I will bless the Lord at all times, and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”  He went on to say, “That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all Your wondrous works.”  O’ here's another favorite verse of mine, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.”  In fact, “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.”  I love this one, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.”

Remember to join with us at the Church of Champions on this upcoming Tuesday night at 7:30PM for an evening of THANKSGIVING with praise!

Manifestations & Miracles Are Everywhere!

WOW Church of Champions!!!

What a glorious time we have all enjoyed in God’s Presence!  This month has been power-packed.  We worshipteam1.jpghave witnessed an innumerable company of heavenly host rally in our midst as we've lifted up Jesus higher and higher!  The Lord has specifically called and anointed young David’s for ministry in this hour!  Beware, they do not look as if they have been dressed with the implements of our warfare and yes, they may appear too young and extremely vulnerable, but our David’s will prevail against the giants of this land.  They have purposed to defeat the very enemies of God with stones they have retrieved - to build altars of prayer.

The women are interceding!  The men are fighting, loving, and living – each man destroying his portion of the seemingly impenetrable wall!  Our men are no longer hiding in the prisons of fearful pasts, but they ride in thunderous victory with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

November Is Awesome

Dear Friends,

It has been a few days since I’ve blogged and I apologize for being “absent”….

WOW!  That’s what my soul is screaming right now.  At the Church of Champions we have been in a full hutchins_technology.jpgcourt press. This past week, we celebrated Emmaus & Beyond’s 27th verse.  And oh’ the marvelous things God did for our guests are beyond description.  So many lives were radically changed by the love of God.  Gratitude dripped from their lips like honey from the honey comb.

This verse was radically impacted by the many, many hours of prayer and fasting that preceded its launch on Thursday evening.  Oh’ how God wrapped His arms around us that first evening and continued to walk with us throughout the weekend.  It culminated in a serious celebration experience Sunday morning at the Church of Champions!  The presence and power of God was so thick in the auditorium it hung like a curtain of Shekinah glory!

Obedience IN Faith!

Friends,

What an awesome Saturday morning in Houston.  Fall is in the air.  It’s cool outside and the humidity is allhutchins_technology.jpg but absent.

As I reflected on a majestic week of Kingdom work, I want to give God praise with renewed fervor because truly, He is the Shepherd of all that is good and precious in life.  He values our lives and He has led us beside the tranquil waters where Holy Discontent picnics with Infinite Peace!

In this hour, bravery and boldness must become the Christ-follower.  This world is no friend of Grace.  A person who makes a commitment to Jesus Christ’s salvation will not find a crowd immediately forming to applaud the decision or old friends spontaneously gathering around to offer congratulations and counsel.  With our nation becoming increasingly hostile toward anything Christ and/or Christianity, it is imperative that we understand the perilous times in which we live!

Why Crawl When You Can Fly

Francis Chan, in his latest literary masterpiece, offers a compelling narrative that I want to share with youhutchins_perspective.jpg this morning --

Francis, writing on the subject of the Holy Spirit uses metamorphism when he said, “Can you imagine the confusion a caterpillar must experience.  For all its caterpillar life, it crawls around a small patch of dirt and up and down a few plants.  Then one day it takes a nap.  And then, what in the world must go through its head when it wakes up to discover it can fly?   What happened to its dirty, plump little worm body?  What does it think when it sees its tiny new body and gorgeous wings?

As believers, we ought to experience this same kind of astonishment when the Holy Spirit enters our bodies.  We should be stunned in disbelief over becoming a ‘new creation’ with the Spirit of God living in us.  As the caterpillar finds it news ability to fly, we should be thrilled over our Spirit-empowered ability to live differently and faithfully.  Isn’t this what the Scriptures speak of?  Isn’t this what we’ve all been longing for?

It really is an astounding truth that the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.  He lives in me.  I do not know what the Spirit will do or where He will lead me each time I invite thumbnailcauck9wk.jpgHim to guide me.  But I am tired of living in a way that looks exactly like people who do not have the Holy Spirit of God living in them.  I want to consistently live with an awareness of His strength, I want to be different today from what I was yesterday as the fruit of the Spirit becomes more manifest in me.”

I pray that each of us realize daily the power of the Holy Spirit’s grace at work in our lives!

We do not want to keep crawling when we have the ability to fly!

Peace and blessings to you and yours!
