“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him…that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!”
These words were spoken by the Prophet of God concerning the message of the coming Messiah, and are used today with reference to gospel preachers. The Apostle Paul said, “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
The feet of the righteous suggest beauty in contrast to the feet of the ungodly, which perish in untimely ends because they “walked in the counsel of the ungodly.” The feet of the upright walk in straight paths, abiding in the tabernacle of their joy, which is the sanctuary of the Most High God. The feet of the righteous are like “hinds feet” which have abilities to climb the mountains of life and scale what appear to some as insurmountable circumstances.

and How to Fix Him, written by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach is the best book I have read in the last four years.
