Musings from a Weekend of Wonderment!
The lexicon of languages fails to augment the intellectual capacity of man in his best and boldest efforts to
describe Holy Awe, and Grace-filled Wonder!
For centuries, mortals who have occupied the AD territory (after Calvary) of human experience have struggled in their exploration of God meeting men. To explore that experiential element of what it must have felt like for the High Priest to enter into the Holiest of Holies in Moses’ Tabernacle or Solomon’s Temple. Any student of Scripture is ultimately drawn to that moment where Wonder and Awe collide behind the veil of the temple. It is only there, in that smallest of cubicles where no natural light can penetrate that the trepidatious steps of man would find entrance into the chamber of Awestruck Wonder!
A place where God’s Love, Righteousness, Favor, Grace, Mercy, Truth and Judgment all met together to form at once a synod of Light! Darkness fled on fleet feet from the Presence whose power could illuminate the deadened soul and raise the decadent from their hell.
Such moments eclipse language. No words are given, nor understood, that could adequately describe such encounter. Each word sounds pitifully inept in capturing the fullness of the moment! How tinny our simple grammatical structures are! How hollow are they in their boldest efforts to capture manifested Favor and Grace?
What God is doing now at the Church of Champions cannot be penned, nor can it be adequately described. Amazing doesn’t even begin to tell of the magnitude of Wonder reigning in the house. Careful can’t begin to declare the caution with which we walk in His Presence. All that can be said is that when we assembled together this past weekend, the Sovereign King of Glory showed up. And His Presence alone drove out oppression; healed brokenness and reclaimed the lost. He Who was, Who is, and Who is to come invaded our NOW and made all else right!
We do not manage this movement! We do put a plan to this encounter! All we can say is, Your invited into the Presence of God this coming weekend! Don’t miss it!
